Sneak a peek

So I've been programming visual novels again. This time around the story is taken from my still unpublished second volume of 'The Untold Stories of Neverbeen Universe'. And I decided to leak it to you. But pssht! ;)
The second short story collection is going to be called 'More Untold Stories of Neverbeen Universe' and it includes 10 stories and illustrations. I hope to publish some time this year (depending on how fast my beta is).
Be that as it may, I have a playthrough video of the second of those stories for you. It is quite short, but then again the story is still new and a taster to what the second volume will be like. Have fun watching! :)

Sail away

So I spent some time programming one of my visual novels again. Since this story was slightly longer than the rest it took me quite a while until the game was ready to play.

Again this visual novel is one of the stories published in my short story collection 'The Untold Stories of Neverbeen Universe'.
Hopefully the quality of the recording is good enough so you can enjoy the playthrough.
Here it is; and have fun watching! :D

Cookies! :D

Last month I showed you one of my stories that I've turned into visual novels. And I hope you liked what you saw.
Well, I made another playthrough video. :D

This time you get to meet two other inhabitants of 'Neverbeen Universe'. The recording is a bit longer than last time, but hopefully in better quality.
Again you can read the story traditionally on AO3:

Otherwise have fun watching. And tell me what you think of it. :D

You Eat with Your Eyes!

This saying is so very true.
So you might want to make your stories more appealing to the eye. But how to do that?

When I drafted 'The Untold Stories of Neverbeen Universe' at first I made illustrations for every short story I wrote. Which means I now have 18 stories with 18 related and colorated pictures; half of them are already published in the first volume while the second one is still in the making.
This is more than what a lot of authors do.

But to me that was not enough. I want people to see what 'Neverbeen Universe' is like. I'm not a film maker, though. So I was thinking.
What should I do? What could I do?
And then it hit me: a computer game would be awesome! :D
So I used RPGMakerVXAce to turn some of my stories into visual novels (which turned out harder to do than I thought); they aren't games in the common sense but they just animate the story.

Since I can't upload the game files here, I recorded a playthrough of one of these visual novels I made. So you can enjoy the story game style. Or you can read it traditionally on AO3: http://archiveofourown.org/works/5130770

Anyhow, have fun watching! :D
